Electronic commerce is multi-disciplinary by nature; this characteristic is reflected in the backgrounds and interest of Center participants. The Center brings together a diverse set of researchers to foster cross-disciplinary research, providing businesses interested in electronic commerce with the depth and breadth of available knowledge. Every functional area (department) of the Pamplin College of Business is represented in the Center, but it is also open to faculty from other fields at Virginia Tech.
